Completed in 2012, for luxury theater operator, Cinetopia, this 23-screen, 81,800 sq ft remodel project at Westfield Mall, in Vancouver, Washington, required a shell expansion, exterior façade update, and complete interior renovation. Originally a two-story retail anchor tenant, the space was redesigned into a cinema multiplex with restaurant, bar, arcade, and art gallery. The program is split between the two floors; the lower level oriented to family friendly entertainment, and the upper level housing the 21-and over venues. The theaters range from intimate parlor-sized spaces, to large format GXL auditoriums. All of the auditoriums were custom furnished with luxurious seating, state-of-the-art technology and clean, modern finishes.
